Thank you to everyone who sent something for our stone soup! Making our own really helped the kids understand the main point of the books- that giving is a good choice that helps everyone.

Learning to use "chopsticks"

During our lessons about Japan, we learned how to use chopsticks--improvised of course! I couldn't find real ones to b at Walmart so we made due with pencils! They did a great job!

On Friday, March 15, we are making stone soup! Watch for a note in your child's red Tuesday folder because we need EVERYONE in our class to bring an ingredient!

A Bear State of Mind

Our students thoroughly enjoyed Trike Theater's production of A Bear State of Mind. They learned about the regions and attributes of Arkansas through a wonderful puppet show! Thank you, Trike!
